Pumpkin Spice Classroom Decor Bulletin Board Kit

Today I have a free printable pumpkin theme bulletin board kit to spice up your classroom decor. This set can be used in a variety of ways, including as part of your writing and positive character trait lessons, so continue reading to find out more!

The Design

I love fall colors! This free printable bulletin board kit features a vibrant autumn palette of blues, purples, oranges, and creams. Letters are included in an easy to read font to spell the phrase, “Pumpkin spice and everything nice.” In addition, I’ve included cute pumpkins in different sizes and colors. Use this kit for a bulletin board, wall display, door decor in your classroom, hallway, church, office, or at home.

What is included in the display kit?

• Autumn sprinkle borders with a scalloped edge – (3 inch x 10 inch strips) – 2 per page
• Festive and fun pumpkins (which look lovely placed around your display or strung together as a banner)
  • 2 styles/sizes:
    • Large winky face pumpkins (approximately 7 inches by 7 inches)
    • Small smiley pumpkins (approximately 4 inches by 4 inches)

How can I use the pumpkin display kit?

There are so many ways to use this kit! Here are a couple to try:

Positive character trait kindness writing prompt activity

• Talk with your students about kindness:
  • What does it mean to your students?
  • What does it look like in your students’ daily lives?
• Read a book about kindness. The Ugly Pumpkin by Dave Horowitz, Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper, and Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White are great options that are readily available at many local and school libraries. (They are available for purchase online and in stores as well.) These books are great options to spark conversations about kindness, friendship, and sharing.
• Print and cut out the coffee mug pages with the “kindness means” prompt boxes.
  • Have students write what kindness means to them.
  • Put their work on display in the home, classroom, or hallway to show their excellent writing skills and to encourage kindness in others.
    • During your daily interactions, reference the ways you can show kindness to each other that are on the display.

Name Display

Do you have new students? New coworkers? Or just an awesome group? Use the bulletin board kit to highlight all the wonderful members of your class or team! This makes fun classroom door decor too!

• Print and cutout the coffee mugs with the blank labels.
• Write each classmate/member’s name on a mug.
• Display them so that everyone can see your awesome group!

Tips For Printing

I recommend printing these pages on cardstock or matte photo paper for best durability and print quality.

Laminating your printed items is a great way to help them last longer and allows you to reuse them in the future as well.
