Creative Ways To Use These Flower Templates

  • Print the flower templates on any letter size paper you like.
  • Stencils: To use the flower templates as stencils, print them on paper of your choosing (cardstock works well for projects involving paint or mediums that may soak through thin paper).  Then, cut the inside or outside of the flower shapes (depending on your preference) to use on your unique designs.  Cardboard is also a nice durable material to use for a variety of stencils. (Simply trace the shape onto the cardboard, cut out the shape, and you’re ready to go!)
  • Print directly on pattern paper or colored cardstock for a quick and easy way to get a colorful design to use in your creative project.
  • Decor and organization:
    • Bulletin board decorations
    • Banners
    • Classroom area labels
    • Classroom supplies organization
    • Name tags
    • Teacher file and desk organization
  • Arts and crafts:
    • Coloring pages
    • Poster add-ons
    • Scrapbook embellishments
    • Thank you and celebration cards for teachers, staff, students, parents, and/or volunteers
  • Student activities and positive behavior supports
    • Print flowers on fun colored/pattern paper and pass out to star students to reinforce positive behaviors in class.
    • Use flower cutouts to make fun games for reinforcing learning concepts (e.g., letter matching or sight word practice).

Ways To Print The Flower Templates

These designs can be printed on any standard letter size (8.5 X 11 inch) paper.  Here are a few tips for best quality:

  • For printing pages to use as student coloring pages or basic classroom assignments, plain printer paper works well.
  • For items that are used frequently or require more durability, I recommend printing on cardstock or photo paper.  Laminating is also helpful for protecting prints.
  • Glossy photo paper will provide the most vivid colors when printing.
  • Printing on white paper with black ink is the easiest ink saving method to get started.  Then you can add color, embellishments, and whatever else you like to create a custom project.
  • Print your favorite flower templates on pattern paper for a quick way to bring your project to life.

Downloading & Printing Info

I highly recommend printing on glossy photo paper for maximum color vibrancy and quality.
Matte photo paper and regular card stock are good options for printing durable black and white prints.
